Disappointment! 
So, I arrived around 10:20 to get into the burlesque show. I was working too late to meet the Chicago folk at Subterranean, but I figured at least I could meet some people and catch the show.
The line was moving slowly, and I saw some people getting turned away. I asked if the show was sold out, and they said no. But as soon as I got to the front of the line, I heard a girl asking about cell phones. Turns out, they were being *so* anal about cameras, that they weren't even letting people in with camera phones! I came straight from work on the L, so I had nowhere to stash my phone. I was unable to get in.
Luckily, I hooked up with some friends and still had fun somewhere else, but I'm annoyed that a) I didn't get to meet some cool SG folk, and b) that I didn't see any warnings about camera phones.
WTF? Anyone else run into this? Am I just a SG noob and I didn't know the restrictions?

sorry we skipped on subteranean, i was just mega hungry and i didn't know if they served food at subteranean.
a good way to find out what people are doing before shows is to join SGmidwest.
there's lots of initiation and hazing before you can get into #chatters, it takes about a month, and senior members get to make you there sex slave.
