Re: my girlfriend; we're not the furniture moving type. She's visiting for the weekend. It will probably be our thing to visit each other once a month. With my business at such a critical phase I can't leave PDX and she's thinking about being a post doc at Harvard. We're taking it slowly, but I have every intention of being with her a month from now, a year from now, and with a little luck - and she willing - a decade from now.
