another day in vacationland ..

I got my spare key in the mail .. went for a goodly spin around the 'hood and it made me happy. it's a bit wet today so I'm stuck inside.

I need someplace to go when it dries up a little .. I got some people to go visit around the state, I guess. that should hold me off for a few days.

so it looks like I'm going to go to VA .. now I need to plan the road trip. I should go soon before I spend all my cash on crap. maybe I should call the VA people and see who's about? might be a good idea.

I need to call that girl my mom wants to set me up with .. we had a quick meet (lunch with my mom and some other folks she works with) and she's really cool. she's got like three days to get me to stay .. she has little chance, but I'll call her anyway.

the sun just came out in earnest .. I think I may have to go for another ride.. shit, it's good to be me today.
