so I went for a ride today .. just a quick little spin around the block, but it was two wheels under me (most of the time) and I did menage to sneak it to a tad over a hundred...

many of you will have no idea exactly what this means to me, but I assure you that today ranked up there as one of the best days I've had in a long long time.

nothing, and I mean nothing, beats pulling onto the street, catching a quick peek behind, then pulling the cord all the way taut so the front wheel sneaks up off the pavement for a few seconds.

I gotta get this fucker registered tomorrow so I can go for a real ride .. it's been waaaay to long.

in other news: my mom really really wants me to stick around here for a while .. I told her that there was no fucking chance, and that I would be history way before the first flakes start to fall. so then she tells me about this chick she works with (says she thinks she might be 'my type') and wouldn't I like to come down and visit for lunch sometime to meet her?

my mom has never once tried to hook me up with a girl .. so I'll go down to the hospital in a couple days and check this girl out.

did I mention I went for a ride today? man I wish DMV was open at 2am ...
