In a conversation I had yesterday with a female acquittance of mine, the topic of honesty, and truth became a matter that the women I disagreed greatly on. She says she ALWAYS tells the truth, and would NEVER lie even if it was to spare someones feelings on a subject deemed unimportant.. I asked " Who's truth are you referring to? The truth according to you? There are truth's that are undeniable, that is for certain, also there are truths that exist only in the mind of the person holding said truth. Myself, I try not to impose my personal truths on other people, I don't always succeed, but I try. As far as being brutally honest. I refuse to use honesty as a passive aggressive way to harm someones feelings....but that is just me.
