ive been spending a lot of time on this site lately because im finally on highspeed internet, woot!
i moved last week into a house with two friends... my fiance will be moving here in may as well. it will be crowded but oh well. so far so good, i love this house, i love my independance, i love not cleaning up after my brother and sisters, i hate being so broke but i will have a new job soon i hope. i applied to work at living colour (www.living-colour.com) as the desk person, and i will be ecstatic if i get that job. otherwise ill probably settle for a grocery store for now. i will be graduating in less than 2 months, and i will have my Bachelor of Fine arts. hence the grocery store job. ha. i went to new york city for the first time in my life on sprint break, just for a weekend. our hostel was in harlem so that was interesting... its a huge city, of course. it was neat but im not the kind of person that was awstruck and wants to move there. no, small towns are ok with me. maybe ill travel to ny once a year or two when i can afford it, but live there, no thanks.
so ive been really busy lately with school and moving and all that shit. but its been good. i THINK randy is coming to see me next week. his ship is either leaving today for a 2 month deployment, or they arent going. and if they arent going, hes got 2 weeks of leave, on which he will be making the 24 hour drive up here to see me.
we might get married while hes up here.
if you live in ottawa you should come to the Mercury Lounge next saturday (March 10) between 7 and10pm because we are having a funraisor for our grad show, its a silent auction and we are all donating a piece of art for you to bid on! it should be really fun. $5 at the door, come support local emerging artists.
