I wanted so badly to see the meteor shower last night. The pesky moon, being so full and bright, outshone nearly all the stars. And I live in the boonies! Such disappointment. I did see one, though. I HEARD it. For a few seconds there was a turquoise/yellow ball and trail. It was so pretty.

We saw them here at 2:00am in the UK, about 70 a minute. I felt like warm crap this morning but definitely worth it! You can see Mars too right now just beside the moon. Weird to see a red star.

It's nearly 6:30am and I have to leave soon. I start my 2nd job today at the Bagel shop and I'm tired, wired, and a little nervous. I figure if I can handle my waitressing job, this should be a piece of cherry pie with whipped cream on top. Or something.

Fuck, now I'm hungry.
