Took the day off from work due to the combined aftereffects of a flu shot combined with the wrist injury sustained during the Madgrad vs Pinhead's torment event at the roller skatining rink.
I never want to feel that old again. Ever. I know completely understand why people take botox at age 28. The first time you actually feel old, it's like a friend walking up, punching you in the kidney then laughing as he walks away. The pain and confusion is unique.
On the plus side I've decided on my halloween costume: Raoul Duke from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Now if only I can convince my portly friend to be Dr Gonzo, I will be truly happy. This will finally give me the excuse for grabbing a shower rod and jabbing my classmates with it while muttering "I AM AHAB" from between teeth clenched around a filterd cig.
The other costume idea was Spider Jerusalem, but I'm not shaving my head and I think those glasses would make me vomit.
