Want to be as a kid vs What is my profession now - Blog Homework

Hello guys!

I like so much this "blog homework", so... I start by telling you that I have always wanted to be a hostess (mainly flight hostess) as a child and this led me to choose a high school language (I still have difficulty writing in English, but I understand it perfectly). I had difficulties especially with regard to English (in French and Spanish I was quite good), but I always tried to do my best to pursue my dream.

I would have made sense of my studies and I would have done what I had always dreamed of (and why not, I could visit wonderful places)... But I had not thought about one thing ... To become a flight hostess, you have to do first apprenticeship and above all ... It takes a swimming license, because in the event that something bad happens, you have to know what is best to do for save passengers (and yourself).

So when I finished high school, an airline contacted me to do the training and when I did the interview and they talked to me about the swimming patent, I felt my dream shatter. Because? Because I'm afraid of water. I'm afraid of drowning, so you can imagine that I can not swim.

And you say "But you could still do the hostess and work at the airport" ... Well yes, but I would have felt dissatisfied, I would have had, a step away from me, the possibility of realizing my dream, without ever being able to succeed... And so I gave up.

From there, my search for a job began, not the dream job, but a job that gave me the chance to be fairly independent.

Unfortunately, the research was quite complicated, because at that time, I neglected my physical appearance enough and in the various jobs I found interesting, the "beautiful presence" was required.

Fortunately, my research lasted only one year.

My father decided to open his own bar and now I have been working with him for 5 years. My duties are varied: cashier, banker, cleaning lady, maid... Let's say that where help is needed, I'm there!

In this way I learned several roles that belong to the same field and I can equally take advantage of my diploma, given that often our clientele is made up of tourists.

Of course, it was not what I had always dreamed of, but that's okay, it's still a job I like to do!
