I have to agree that was an iffy comment. I should be more respectful but the chilean blood in me just screams to make fun of other nationalities!
well most of the 3rd world inhabitants can be quite smelly (note that in the states we dont use the term 3rd world for locals, we use the term TEXAS)
And there have been a pretty high percentage of eurasians who bath in the stink pool as well. I would say that europe and and americans can be equally stinky. Russian and Indian programmers though, lead the pack. So far with the Russians in the lead.
Where Indians have a musky curry and cigarette smell the russians being quite similar to the french, even in lingual dialect and manurisms, excrete a very pungent onion flavored arm pit odor with a hint of russian cigarettes.
Perhaps I am being to prejudiced. My bias stems from one particular russian who had a bad effect on my olfactory system that left me with post traumatic stink disorder.
The chinese so far have an honorable mention for the many encounters I have experienced with thier severe halitosis.
