today was my last day of work at Intel.

I was laid off....who would have thought that the modem industry would one day suck so much!
well I hope i find a job soon.
i decided to purchase some photography equipment.
I went to south eastern camera and bought myself a light meter. It is a nice meter. It is old and has an analog needle. Its a Gossen Luna-Pro F. I got it for about 200 bucks. I also decided to purge my wallet and get a lens attachment for doing spot metering.

I also did some ebay "sniping" and swiped a 500 watt flood lamp within the last 20 seconds of the auction. WOOT. for 45 bucks total. The lamp should have cost something like 80 bucks according to a quick search for the model on google.

now to get some nice cheap sheets for the backgrounds, a tripod for the camera, and a stand for the light.

someone told me it was actually Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street newspaper journalist.
It was just tough seeing anyone in that position. Yeah, I hate what they do. But even worse, I sometimes feel like the desperation right before it happens is just as bad. Just a crummy situation all around.
When the Nerg video came out, I debated hard on whether to watch it. I knew it would mess with me, but I kinda felt like I needed to see it for some reason. The closest I got was hearing the audio of it. Thats all I could handle.
