First of all, Holy SHIT! Remind me to take little breaks from SG more often. Girls routinely in my favorites showed up while I was on hiatus. Twwly! Manko! James! Plus, I've been waiting forever for Medeia! And How incredibly hot is StellaBlue! I have had her bookmarked for a long time despite her lack of journaling. Does this beauty even know her set is up?
Next on the Agenda, I gave 4 people the boot this evening, 2 suicidegirls, 2 members. I wonder if they even noticed.
So, my vacation is crumbling before my eyes. Today. Here goes.
First, I find out via IM that there might be other people out there staying at the place where I was going to spend Friday Night. One of whom, I can put up with, but I certainly wasn't planning on hanging out with, and can be a bit bothersome during traveling. The other, I've never really traveled with, and for the most part I enjoy her company, but we've never really hung out except through some mutual friends.
This obviously could be worse, but it's not like there's a lot of space, or a lot of time there to interact with the people I want to see, and I didn't want my friends to have to be more chauffeur than partier.
Later tonight, I find out that the other friend I was planning on staying with has to leave town, pretty much for the duration of the time that I'm there. Fuckin B, I flew in to Burbank to avoid LAX and so that this friend could easily return me to the airport, and I paid extra for it too, and now I don't even get to see said friend not to make it more inconvenient to cart my travelling self around.
It'll be nice to get away, but I'm starting to think I should have done something different. I mean, I would have loved to partee it up with some of the people at prom, dixiebelle, sophie, morgan...

Or, I could be at e3 right now, or flown up to vancouver for vantat. I'll still have a good time, don't get me wrong, but I could also have a rocking time visiting my friends in SF or Chicago where Autechre is also playing.
