Just in case July hasn't pooped on me enough with the motorcycle accident and the lameness of this small town, now it looks like my holiday plans are fucked.
I have a ticket back to the states for burningman, from there I was going to decompress in LA and then fly to Brisbane for some beach time and some scrum training. Sadly, the only training class I could make it to on this side of the world (at least until November) is cancelled. Plus, the friend I wanted to visit in Brisvegas seems to be flaking out on me.
I could hang around in Denver for an extra 10 days after the burn, or fly up to Portland (where I barely know 1 person) to get trained, or head back to the bay and decompress there. I just don't know. Plus, as much as I want to hang with my friends, I don't want to eat away all my vacation time in the states. I've done that, I need to see Fiji and Australia and Thailand and Singapore and everything else I haven't seen.
I can't justify just hopping to another country though when I really need the extra cash for repairing my bike and then moving to Auckland. Just sounding it out I'm guessing the most feasable option is Auckland - LA - Burningman - Denver - SF - training - back 2 Auckland. eep.
