Just in case July hasn't pooped on me enough with the motorcycle accident and the lameness of this small town, now it looks like my holiday plans are fucked.
I have a ticket back to the states for burningman, from there I was going to decompress in LA and then fly to Brisbane for some beach time and some scrum training. Sadly, the only...

Second full moon this month yesterday, go calendar blue moon!
No matter where I live one thing has remained constant: full moon outdoor parties (when it isn't too cold).
It's the middle of winter and it was 21 / 70 degrees yesterday.
"In your face, space coyote!"

I can't rember the last time I watched it rain this hard.

Washing away my Friday.
Raining cats and dogs.

It didn't really rain like this in Denver, at least not for any extended period of time. The rain kind of masks that it was a Friday. How did Claypool put it? "The weekends don't mean so much when you're unemployed... 'cept you get to...

I've been reading a lot of blogs recently. This one should have been updated before now. Maybe partying will help? I have all these unfinished thoughts, like fragments of songs scattered about, looking to be pieced together. Rather than digest large stories I've been taking in a lot of little ones. Part of it is an attempt to sound more positive. At least I'm taking...

Here you are again, thank you for being constant with me. we should definately talk more.

As for your advice, I am working a weekend job, this is extra, and if I need to get something during the week days, on top of this, I just might, I have no furniture still, no real place of my own.

I'm working on something big, I want TOP!

Everything worked out, what a happy end!
Americans and Canadians are friends again!
So let's all join hands, and knock opression down!

Don't you know our little lives are now complete..
'Cause Terrance and Phillip are sweeeeet!
(Super Sweeet!)

Thank God we live in this quiet, little, pissant, redneck, podunk, jerkwater, three corn, one horse, one hole, chicken butt, right wing, missing stuff, no mail,...

I saw Cyberdog, and I walked through it. I remember being obsessed with the styles when I was 15... and not much has changed on their end.
Unfortunatly, Ive grown a lot. Im just not into it anymore.

How many of you keep blogs elsewhere? How many of those are based on wordpress? I'm dropping in a snippet of my words from elsewhere for now, but I'm working on a dynamic image widget that will preview said writing and link to the entry, so you don't have to duplicate and reformat jumping between different places (that don't allow javascript).

I love Wordpress. I use it at: cklarock.com/blog/.

I also have implimented it as a CMS for clients of mine-- I think the interfece is solid, and its perfect for a small (3-12 page) single-purpose site.

So, I'm in New Zealand now, trying to put together a master update. In my short time in 'Zed', Auckland seems like the place for me, despite the empty jazz festival and how early I went to bed (although I did arrive at 6am). From what I hear, Wellington is a lot more of a hip community, but the weather isn't nearly as nice. I...

I sign a contract today that'll have me working in NZ in three weeks.
I've already dispersed most of my stuff... which is almost as fun, getting rid of all my possessions. They don't own me. Plus, I'll be earning twice what the average kiwi makes.
I CAN'T WAIT!

i'm so jealous!! when you go, try to check out Flight of the Conchords. They're awesome and the closest they've gotten to the US was on HBO.

Oh, and I gotta love a guy ready with GCH lyrics when called on!! kiss
blyss:
That is a great idea...have you done it? I was just telling my friend Jo, who is traveling with me that, I would really love to meet a a real shaman.

It's liberating to give away all of your possessions for sure. Somehow I have too many again even though I gave them all away 5 years ago.
