Life had undergone a series of unexpected stressors. Making some decisions that made me sad but were correct. Financial juggling. How does one balance a love of whiskey with a love of nutrition? And other more boring more serious things.
The new event on the horizon being my birthday. Yep. July 19th. To be celebrated not this year (well, maybe only a little) by drunken madness mayhem, but by this:

Spend my birthday wandering for 10k in the park, a great cause. If anyone feels any pull to the cause, or just wants to give a random girl a meaningful present, the donation would really be appreciated. I've participated in years past, solicited you all in years past.
In the meantime, it's off to more random things. I'd like to solicit music recommendations, as mine are feeling played out (well, I suppose I still will ask); but I won't have a computer starting tomorrow for awhile, until I can save up for one of my own. One of those unfortunate financial: people are nonsense things. Building my dream laptop to save for, abandoning that for the cheapest good option.
