I've always loved the water. I grew up with it all around me, always a short drive away. It calms me down like nothing else. No matter what else is going on, when I'm sitting at the shore it's all better.


I woke up ridiculously early this morning and took a motorcycle ride down to the beach. The ride itself was fun; woo for no stop signs, my archnemesis! Very few people silly enough to be up that early, so the road was mostly mine. Then just walked down and sat for awhile, looking through the fog and smoking cigarettes. No one around, just the waves. So happy by the time I got home again.

Thank you so much to everyone who left really sweet comments when I was going through my self-pityfest on Friday. Y'all are unbelievably awesome.

Bacon Night tonight (I'm bringing my own veggie bacon tonight, cause I get very jealous of everyone who eats it.

My Frenchman friend from back in NY comes out to visit tomorrow for a week. It'll be mayhem, and lots of fighting. He was the one who taught me how to fight, and we always seem to get into it (mostly playfighting) when we're around each other. Haven't seen the fucker in four years. I'm excited.
