Awesome experience. Absolutely crazy. I was a cheerleader (Buffy) part of three girls taking a male cheerleader down. We took him OUT. I'll smell like chocolate for a week.

Part of a giant update:

The San Francisco AIDs Walk is an amazing experience. You're walking with thousands of other people, all for an amazing cause that I am very passionate about.

Last year I managed to raise $150. I'm hoping to raise more this year. I absolutely detest asking for anything, but if you were thinking about helping out in the fight to help those living with AIDs, or prevent those at risk from contracting it, and you can't come out yourself, please consider sponsoring me.

My AIDs Walk Fundraising Page

It's completely tax deductible, and you'll feel really good inside. I'll even send a free print of me to anyone who donates $30 or more; just message me with the details.

Other than that, life's been chaotic, but good. I've been getting into trouble. blush But it's fun trouble, so it's all good.

I've met a ton of really awesome members, either through the All American Tattoo Convention (where Grace, Cate, Yummy and I were yesterday (I got a new tattoo! Pictures to come.) I'm always really happy to be out there with you all.

SamSowl always seems to brighten my day when I'm feeling exhausted.

And Grace and Cate are the best girls to go out with ever. You all should be very jealous.

Wow, this was really long and random. Thanks for sticking with it! kiss

You really want a 250cc? I'm not a huge advocate of starting on the smaller bikes, though I know alot of people say it's the best way to go. Reason being, when you are out riding around the other vehicles passing will blow you around. Also, you don't have enough power to get yourself out of a jam. Both situations create alot of anxiety for a new rider and aren't big confidence builders. And if riding ends up being your primary form of transport then you'll out grow a 250 in less than three months.

I generally recommend that you start with a 400 or 600 cc bike. Keep in mind that a cruiser style has a lower seat height. Women usually default to cruisers because we have a lower center of balance, whereas guys tend to be more comfortable on the sport bikes because they have a higher center of balance. Consider starting out on a Honda VLX. Easy to find pasts/service/modifications and very reliable.
