i miss vancouver
i fell in love with the city when i was over there last year working on a project. though it was february and i was there during the rain, i had a chance to experience the city. i was put up in a hotel on robson street and everyday i would walk and befriend vancouver, just to feel its rhythm. for five days, i was left on my own to explore, and everyone i've talked to was really nice - it was like having instant friends (just add water). what was really great about it too was that the wilderness was right there at your fingertips - what's amazing to me is that it's only a 20 minute drive if you want to hike, swim, or anything else that has to do with nature. that's a big plus in my book.
now, everytime i watch a show that's filmed in vancouver, i get this longing to be there, especially when i'm watching "dead like me."
man, i gotta get on that show, and while i'm at it - "battlestar galactica," too.
