Here I am in Montreal, totally bummed out. I never thought I would be in this situation again, somehow a girl has stepped in and made my sucker of a heart beat a little quicker, only to stomp it repeatedly.

At least the conference is cool, math geeks everywhere; I started a discussion about General Relativiy this morning and everyone understood me, no looks of disbelief, no glazed eyes... they spoke my language. For a little while I did not feel so alone in the world, until of course I tried to whip out a little literature and mix that in the conversation... then I got the glazed eyes.

Seems like in any crowd I cannot talk about what I want. The literature kids I know do not dig art or math much if at all, the artists I meet hate books and math, and the math kids rarely know anything outside of Futurama/Simpsons/Family Guy or any other pop culture phenomenon.

I probably sound like a pompous ass, I will stop with that.... now.

So I posted on SuicdeBoys, and I got a few comments, which I was happy for... I look creepy with short hair and no smiles, if anyone reads this and is on the SB forum should tell me what I need to improve.

Also, I totally do not understand some of the comments, not to knock it a positive comment, but I have no idea what was impressive about my set. Although I will gladly take that compliment then seconds and maybe thirds!
