i just remembered...im not a kid anymore. i realized this yesterday...with my little cousin, paige, well being that i babysat her..we went on a bike ride..i took her little sister too in a scooter..it was a hot day.

well we ended up at this old school, that was built in the fifties...im in love with it. the hallways are open to the outside and you can just speed your bike up and down the cement walkways..there are little drinking fountains, where you stand on your tippie toes..to get a taste of hot icky water. i love the feeling. i just want to box it up and open it up when im lonely or crying over a love. when i was a girl i would go there with my dad, and its always given me a sense of love.

but yeah my cousin paige rolls up to the playground.. where ever since she was little, and i was little.. would play whole heartly on the sucka...gettting bloody knees, and sliding down on the hot slide, cusing to jesus that it was so freakin HOT.

well we look around and its gone, the playscape had been pulled up, and all that remained were some rocks and coke bottles..and the raped dirt.

i looked at paiges eyes, and i could feel what she was feeling...this was the first taste of unstablity. her first taste of change..

shes not little anymore
i guess we all have to change sometime.
even when the playscape leaves us.
