It's a helluva thing to watch the band of your youth inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame..... aged and weathered and tattered and torn.
And the greatest pain of all is the knowledge that many youngsters walk the earth thinking R.E.M. are the band that sing that " losing my religion " song if they even know them at all. For I and many others know the real truth that while Madonna, Huey Lewis and fuckin Duran Duran made our ears bleed; a little band from Athens Ga wrote music that meant something and stood the test of time.
