Oil giant Exxon Mobil Corp. on Thursday posted the largest annual profit by a U.S. company -
$ 39.5 billion !!!!!!!!

Apparently an event some 19 years ago is all but forgotten and it is now all peaches and cream. That is displeasing enough until you think about this largest ever profit. A windfall gained through the fear of a threatened foreign oil supply and soaked in the blood of dead american soldiers.

Now some of you might be asking what happened 19 years ago..... Well here is a little sonic history lesson....



And now for the frightening news.... Today, the Exxon Valdez spill doesn't even rank as one of top 50 spills around the world....

Happiest business story of the year HSBC issues profit warning. They may not be an oil company but it's the banks who finance most of the awful shit in the world so it's nice to see the bastards stressing for their ill-gotten gains. BP is apparently in the shit as well. I know the fuckers will be alright in the end but a sI said before it's nice to see them sweat a bit.

Now if only neither of us had Governments that would prop them up no matter what they did. frown
