This is not my blog...I repeat, this is not my blog...I had planned to sit down and toss one off but I have some things to do...BUT...I just saw two trailers for movies that I have not yet seen...and probably won't...I just wonder who writes this shit and how do I get that job???
The Box...Interesting moral conflict situation...everytime you push a button you get a million dollars...oh and someone you don't know dies...Cameron Diaz talks about how everyone THINKS they know what they would do here...as in..."the right thing"...Hey babe...I have news...I'm pushing buttons...Moral dilemma??? Really???...I'm not seeing it...Okay, maybe if the stranger were brought to my doorstep and gutted like a fish, I might press only once...but totally anonymous death in the post Bush years????...and they made this concept into a movie???..Hey...I'll go one better...the first two pushes are on me...I have some folks I KNOW that you can fillet if you want...

Sorority Row (I think)...Dude disses a sorority sis...In an admirable display of loyalty they band together to teach him a lesson...( You cheat on one Theta, you cheat on all Theta's)...I am not making this up...seriously...
They con the ex into thinking Theta sis has killed herself and present him with her faked death "lifeless" body...they make him feel so bad about his manners that he feels compelled to help them dispose of her body..the plan is to dismember her and when he craps his pants or whines, the jilted sis will rise up and laugh along with the others...but there is a fly in the ointment...he really does end up doing her in...dead sis now returns from the dead to exact her revenge...and the other sis's are surprised????
Oh well...so much for the movie critique...back to our regular programming...

How did I miss this blog over the weekend. Neither of those films are showing in my neck of the proverbial woods. I am not disappointed by that.
