Beerfest in Mammoth was great fun. Met Vinnie Cilurzo for the 4th time..This time he remembered me. I'm making progress... Guerneville this weekend. It is THE festival...small, hard to get into to and so much fun for the brewers, the BBQ cookers and the guests. Most fests are fun for one or two but not all three....this one is...
I remember what I wanted to say...Back in May, at Boonville, I was hanging out with some ex-employees of a brewpub that I frequent and one of the bartenders gave me a hug..she was always hugging everyone...Well, this friend of hers of the same gender comes up and calls me a "cunt" for hugging back...I never knew a guy could be a "cunt"..besides...I like the word and have NEVER used it as a negative term...well...hardly..not today..,Everyone laughed and I think she was confused...maybe too much beer...perhaps...SAAAA-Taaaan???
So much for ancient history..
I will take pictures...hopefully not the same as the ones I took last year...
The brewer from the local brewpub there made a beer with a 45 million year old yeast recently...Jurrassic Park baby!!!!...I hear it was nothing special...but he tells me he has a bottle or two stashed..we'll see..I mean, you gotta taste it!!!!...I can't wait around another 45 million years..
Things are looking up...in general and specifically...I hope it's a trend that lasts almost 45 million years...
