At least I still have a fence....The City called yesterday to make sure that someone would be at home from 6 am to 5 pm today so that they could investigate a possible water leak in a pipe between my house and the neighbors...They wanted someone to be home in case they had to remove my fence to follow the pipe...

They arrived late and did some digging and at one point even thought that the pipe in question may belong to the house...even though they could plainly see where my water comes into the house...they ended up putting pressure meters on all of my faucets and trying to increase the pressure in my water lines to see if their leak responded to the pressure changes...It didn't but now all of my faucets leak...due to the extra pressure...not their problem apparently...so i have been tightening faucet fixtures all day...

The pipe in question is a City pipe, it is on City property but it runs along my fence without coming into my yard...so I still have a fence...They were nice about it...but all this and missing a day at work that I have to make up just so they could find a leaky pipe...but as I said, I still have a fence...things could be worse...the lights could go out...
