It seems as though I never have quite enough time allotted for updating my blog...Take this evening for example, cooking beans while caring for my slightly debilitated cat, talking computers, fashion and the weather with close friends and just generally trying to relax, while this beacon from my computer mandates a blog update..I can no longer resist...I am compelled...

The Maibock tapping party was a huge success...some of you got pictures, those that did not...next year for sure... I have been dealing with a pinched nerve in my neck for seems like forever but I seem to be on the backside of it now...I hope. Things are heating up at the brewery...summer is always fast paced... A race to see how much I can produce and age properly before it needs to get served..I was on the edge last year, I hope to get a bit ahead of the curve this year..Time alone will tell...Plus there will be professional commitments (i.e Beer Festivals) that i may want or need to attend...Again..tim factor will be the key...

This time of year is my second favorite time here..cool breezes, shady places and sunlight when needed...plus all the farmers markets are full of the best produce now and for the next few weeks..only thing that beats the current produce will be the first corn and tomatoes in a month or so...makes me want to stay home and cook...or go to a beer festival... You have to have something to drink with all that food...

My beans are almost done...almost perfect I might add...I may have cooked them a bit too fast in my hunger, but they will have to do...

The cat is awake, she is eating the treats she disdained earlier...must be a lesson in there somewhere...
