A conversation with my friends at Mary Crew, talking about helmets. What type of helmet do you prefer, or do you prefer the safest ones? I know that in some states of the United States you don't even need to use it, here in Brazil it is the law and we are obliged to use it. I really like the ones made by hand and with paintings that mean something to me! I'm also building a new Blog with the ones I have! I'll show you soon 🤍

I wear a full face helmet after my accident, hardest punch to the face ever! Not much to choose from with a head as big as mine & as I replace them every couple of years I can’t justify custom paint or really expensive ones. After a couple of seasons they get funky & inevitably dropped or kicked around. My last one I accidentally kicked off the back of the bike when mounting 🤦♂️ 2nd time wearing it! It went over a fence & bounced 20’ down a retaining wall. Took me a while to get down there to get it & it was beat up badly. Still had to wear it home as it’s the law in my state.

I just returned from a motorcycle riding vacation. Riding 3400 plus miles across the heartland of America. With all states I rode in with no helmet laws. And decided to live free and not wear a helmet on my motorcycle vacation.
