As usual, it has been a while since I have done one of these. I doubt anyone actually reads this anyway, but anywho. Not much has been going on with me. Aside from my job fucking me over on hours and being flat ass broke. I got my hours back for this week, but no telling if that will last. Maybe it is sinking in on how dependable I am from all these ridiculous shifts I have been working. I worked over 13 hours last Sunday. Last night I worked 11 hours and I'm about to head into another 11 hour shift. I should be getting at least a few hours of overtime this week because of this.

I've been keeping up with playing after buying the new guitar. I still totally suck at it, but I think I am getting better. I'm starting to think I should take lessons, but I can't afford them. One of my friends tried showing me some stuff once, but then we both learned that he was a terrible teacher. I know I should start learning more chords and some scales, but I think I'll just stick to playing off tabs for now. I figure if I'm not properly being taught, then I should just take it at my own pace.

I'll be seeing the Genitorturers and Hanzel und Gretyl on Wednesday. I've barely started getting into the Genitorturers, but I really like them. Yet another band I should have gotten into a long time ago. I've heard their live shows are rather interesting. A friend claims they put KISS and Rammstein to shame. I've seen neither of them so I won't be able to compare, but I'm still looking forward to the show. I've been long overdue to go to another concert. Even if Ikonoklast is also playing the gig. I don't have anything against them, all the members are actually pretty damn cool, but I just can't get into their music. This will be the sixth time I've seen them. I didn't mind them the last time I saw them, so who knows, maybe I'll actually like them this time.
