I am back...My Mom is better...Funny, the Doctors and Nurses really seemed a tad less smart than I would have figured them to be. I figured things out without any medical training and just common sense...that scares me. Thank you to everyone who expressed sympathy. I think, now on my to do list is to go to medical school.....

I'm glad that sacrificing all of those beers to make your mom better helped! But.... damn I feel like shit now. Make sure she is taking care of herself... if she gets sick again I'll have to get a liver transplant :-)
