I want to be inspired. I really do. I want to move, and feel and see and love and hug and tempt and fall and dance and smile and laugh and cry.


But I just can't. Not right now.


Is it to ask so much as to have a hand on my face? A wisper in my ear? A soul I can trust? A life I can live? A reason to hope?

It pays to win, I hear. Sometimes I cannot find the race.

Once again I am defeated before I begin.
