Training is not going well. Sick for a week or so. I'm hoping to get back to the gym tomorrow. I don't think I've lost much ground -a week won't be my undoing -but at the same time I clearly didn't stay on track or make any progress. At this point anything but getting better feels like taking a step back. The bigger point, of course, is not to worry about the things I can't control, like getting sick. Leaving aside lifestyle, diet, and assorted other choices, getting sick is not something I openly invite. With the changes in the weather though I probably should have taken better care. For some reason, season changes are when I get sick the most. So far I've been sick two weeks in 2009 -that's more than all of last year. Now that I think about it, I wonder what that's about. Hmm.
