Well...life has been crazy for the past while, and shows NO signs of slowing down...
Working at Fiasco has been good, but with all the FUCKING rain its been pretty dead, so a little less than exciting. Been working hard on getting my house to feel like its actually my "home", trying to personalize the decor, get rid of all the handmedown crap I have, get ready to paint the walls, clean, etc. That's been tiring, but enjoyable, since I finally feel its MY place. Been hanging out with Sanguine a lot, which has blown my mind, being the first major relationship I've had since the split with my ex-wife, 3 years ago.
Last night went to an event which KICKED MY ASS HARD!!! Schlachtof (Slaughterhouse) at the Crazy Horse, which is regrettably being demolished in about 4 months. Its a dark industrial night, in this scuzzy, delapidated basement "club", complete with boilers and shit like that. SOOO MUCH MORE MY SCENE THAN KINK!!! I don't mind kink, don't get me wrong...but its not specifically my "thing". The music here was damn near exactly what I listen to at home, the people are the people I love to hang out with, and the atmosphere is everything I personally could hope for from a club. If you're into dark industrial, or even the dark scene in general, you should check it out. It started as a one time thing, but has now been made a every third wednesday thing. Yeah, that about sums things...hope to get a chunk of time off to do some logistical stuff soon...but hey, who can complain about having money after 9 months of being a student? Later!
