Okay...not much time....but WOW LIFE KICKS ASS!!!!
Had a kick ass weekend...Prekink BBQ at Kaptain Kadaver's went gerat, got to preview a new disc that I've mixed, all sorts of good dark music. And of course the company was great. Kink was good, but chaotic, having to negotiate a fine balance. Sanguine Athena, my girlfriend, was with me...but who of all people should show up? MY FUCKING X WIFE!!! Good god damn...but it was still a very enjoyable night.
Spent Saturday and Sunday with my daughter. Took her down to lilac festival...which was NUTS. People were throwing her candy left right and center, and before I knew it the candy would be in her mouth....MMM, sugar high youth....
Sunday night I went to VNV Nation, but was nearly foiled by some FUCKWIT who slashed one of my tires. Dressed in meshware I had to change the tire, and haul ass down to the whiskey. But I made it, and it was GREAT. Imperative reaction was really good...and VNV ECPLISED THEM!!! SUCH A GOOD SHOW! They played 3 fucking encores. Bought 4 new cds between me and Sanguine...so enjoying all sorts of new music.
And today, I start my NEW JOB!!! I restarted the job hunt yesterday, after a 2 week broadcasting course kept me too busy to do any...and by 5 pm last night I not only had a job, but a job where I get to be a supervisor!!!! And where, you may ask? FIASCO GELATO!!!ROCK! So to say I'm a little happy...YIPPEE!!! Start training today...in about an hour and a half...at 715 am. Yes...I'm psychotic to be writing this at 530 in the morning..but hey...I can sleep when I'm dead! So there is a quick recap of events...and now...To the shower!!!
