Finally forked over the subscription fee which really isn't that much when you put it on paper. Didn't realize it had this whole networking aspect to it and now I'm thinking the fee is definately worth it. But I guess time will tell. I'll be around for at least a year.

I always try out new communities and some are more accepting than others. I'm still apprehensive about posting on the boards. I usually lurk for the first few days and get a feel for the people. I've had bad luck in the past with just asserting myself in a board. It was more or less cause of the community tho. I'm not the type of person that just posts to whore myself on the interwebz. If I got something to say/contribute I'll usually contribute it. We'll see how it goes.

The hardest part for me is filling out the 10 lists. It's not that I have a lot of shit I like and 10 spots won't cut it (even tho this is somewhat the case)--it's just that I'm pretty indecisive about shit like that. So most likely that shit will change rather frequently. I mean there are staples that will never change (i.e. LOST, The Impossibles, etc) and others that I will swap out (i.e. Bizarre Foods, The Spill Canvas, etc).
