my dog that i've had for a decade has an inflamed disc, and is paralyzed from the waist down. she can't walk anymore, and she can't expel waste from her body without help. this leads to a very unhealthy living condition for both the dog and those of us in the house. my parents are both immuno-suppressed. we can't very well keep her in this condition, but she is my fuckin dog, and i just can't pussy out on her. it breaks my heart, what am i supposed to do? i'm helpless to do anything to make her better, just hope the meds work for her. i FUCKING HATE feeling helpless.

i really just had to vent, and my friends aren't very compassionate. i know nobody reads this, but i feel a little better just getting it out of my system.
