Thank you to everyone who gave me birthday wishes. it really meant a lot to me. In some ways, it was one of the very few things i did get for my birthday. I didn't even get a new birthday tattoo because i am too broke, and my current personality/quarterlife crisis has me suddenly questioning all the things i've ever wanted.
Still no news on the Dolls front, just a message about a month ago telling me to hold tight a little longer. (But i had to send a message first to get that response...)
Anyway. There are all these shows coming up this fall that i am interested in. I don't think i have enough money or energy to go to all of them.
Here they are, so far:
Sept. 28 - Antony & the Johnsons/CocoRosie, Boston -tickets purchased
Sept. 30 - Rasputina, Northampton
Oct. 12 - SG tour, Boston
Oct. 13 - SG tour, Providence
Oct. 29 - Dresden Dolls, Providence- tickets purchased
Oct. 30 - Rasputina, Boston (May also be the day of company halloween party, i don't know. In which case, i have to decide between the two.)
Oct. 31- Dresden Dolls, Boston- tickets purchased
I've been in hiding lately because i had gained so much of my weight back since the last time most of you saw me. (the first SGBoston Cabaret, likely), and i think hopefully by October i should be just about ready to be seen again. Probably won't be able to fit back into that corset yet.... sigh.
(and I think that I sometimes must have wished
for something more than to be a size six
but now my inspiration rests
in-between my beauty magazines and
my credit card bills)

'allo Mouse. You may not remember ole Socrates, but I may be at the Dresden Dolls show. I hope to see you there. Otherwise, I'll see you at the Death Cab show in MA or the possible Iggy show in NYC. BTW, you should never let "weight" be an issue.
