I don't update often, because the only time i really have the urge to post madly is when i am in bitter angst over something - even when there are much more important things to be updating about - and that sort of behaviour tends to get one a reputation. So i've been making myself NOT post when i want to cry or complain about something, and as far as the things i need to write about, every day i go "i'll do it later."
And so it goes.

So, when we last left our heroine, the oil pump in her car had gone kaput. Engine froze. Car went byebye.

Still trying to get someone to tow the piece of junk, but the good news is that i have a new vehicle. My stepfather's boss got them "the hookup", as it were, and a more-than-reasonable payment plan. I'd like to make it all look like it occured through the magic of our benefactor, a man who has always liked me as if i were one of his own children despite the fact he hasn't seen me since i was a child... but the basic story is here i am, a quarter-lifer, and still getting my shiny new car from mommy. But i have a adamantine umbilical cord still attached and there are benefits and downsides to these things.
The car isn't really new, but practically. Still looks and feels new. Is a little plastic spaceship. Cute, sporty, shiny, silver. I've already christened with stickers.

Anyway, i have to go to work so this is it for now.
