so a water line going to the swamp cooler definitely froze last night, and it definitely extinguished the pilot light of the furnace and filled up my favorite room of the house with water (those of you that weren't around, i regrettably can't show you the pictures, but the water heater explosion occurred in thi same room)
at any rate, it got cold enough last night that the room near teh front of my house (where the water heater and furnace reside, as well as where the water line goes to teh roof for the swamp cooler) froze up a bit-- the water line, on teh side of the valve split and spewed water.. i thought it was raining at 3 am when i noticed the noise. DAMN IT.
i had to buy a hair dryer to clean up, and after mopping up water and blowdrying the furnace-- when it kicked on, my house smelled like a combination of burning stuff and wet dog... so like.. burning wet dog. lovely.
hope everyone has a good christmas or whatever. take it easy.

But I'm not gonna bitch because you are a bit further north than I am.
I'm just going to be thankful for my warm 44 degree house.
Take care lil' dood.
