I am alone again tonight. I didn't plan on it. She went camping with her friends up in a town called Crystal River. I didn't want to go camping this week, though she basically begged me. I am just not one for camping in the middle of July/August in Florida. The heat, the mosquitos, it sucks. I will go camping any day of the week when it is cooler out. We went to Disney yesterday, the kid had a great time. It was the first time she and the kid had ever been there. Though, the heat was a bit much, we were dying out there. There was construction on I-4 in the middle of the night last night, so the interstate was a parking lot at one o'clock in the morning. So needless to say, we were exhausted and frustrated by the time we got home. And, this morning she lays it on me that she is leaving for the weekend, the only weekend that we could have had together without the kid in what seems like forever. Maybe I should have just taken her camping.
