Well the short version is I got my survivor killed finally.

Between yesterday and today I lost all of the tames I started the game with after updating the game last week. Sure some of the new shit is great.. This is still Ark. I make progress and it says time for another set back. And I managed to kill her twice in a row by sky diving without a parachute. Didn't lose the bodybag but did on successive outings lose several of my good tames. Mostly they died by stupid ass bullshit. But losing the last 3 because a rock elemental spawned right on top of us really pissed me off. We weren't even far and I'd scoped the place out a few hours earlier. Hours to tame. Days to level up. Instant death to rock golems. I have canon and rpg engrams so I will destroy them both but they aren't anything like gigas. I tamed me a giga. The real deal here are wyverns which is still never seen. But I heard enough to know that I don't ever want to. It feels like Scorched Earth is just about instant death bullshit more than anything else. And I haven't even found any alphas yet to farm prime meat.

I'm really tired of videogames.

Since it is Destiny reset day I can try 3 more times on PS4 to get Nanophoenix which take several hours (usually an hour just to find a team). :/

Or get back to farming metal so I can destroy some golems. Which means taming 2 new ankylosaurs. Farming hides for more saddles. And trying to figure out a way to level my tames to 100 without running into instant death every couple of hours.
