At least one good thing about the GTX 1070 and playing Ark is that there's a feature called Nvidia Ansel for making screenshots in 2D and 3D.
I don't really care about the screenshots but having the option to pause the game and fly around is a godsend.. almost.
It's like a cheat mode, in the day time, when you kill something or when you die because you can fly around the map while the game is paused to find things.
At this point, as much as I'm trying to play vanilla and such.. I don't consider it a cheat because the bodies shouldn't be going flying when you kill something or when your body dies making it impossible to recover your body bag.
I don't see it as cheating because it is still very hit or miss if you don't pause the game fast enough to see the trajectory of the thing that just died.
