So.... Stupid question. Why isn't Destiny's PvP more like a Moba or specifically like Paragon. Or would it make sense for a mode to be added for people that just can't do PvP in Destiny like ToO. As in aside from PoE which is half way there already and Raids that are more like encapsulated mini-adventures.. TTK's randomization of certain aspects of strikes and Raids was cool.
It does suck to not have a gaggle of AI marines/minions following you around and driving when appropriate because they are aware of you.. but I've made peace with Halo being dead. The concepts die hard. Concepts like Destiny having minions or (space) vehicles and other classes of land vehicles (ones with weapons and abilities and upgrades etc) in a tragically stupid open world.
The concept of Moba arena makes sense in a game like Destiny because each character was built from gameplay outside of the arena not two are exactly the same. They can't be exactly the same. Similar yes.. but not the same. I guess it is hard to balance characters if people can play more and get more unique and more powerful stuff.. but old concepts die hard.
And since SoulCalibur and MK time I've wondered why isn't there that other side to the arena? Where's the open world missions to build up your character?
Maybe that's what I was wondering. Paragon seems a little like Destiny.. but without an open world. Without SRL.. without Raids and Strikes etc. Isn't there more to Paragon? beyond just that it's missing vehicles.
After all that.. what the hell is the point of this game?
