I'd say they are cute.. but they are a hassle.
The first one was a mammal.. and I wanted to do the raptor or trex next.. but was dissuaded against trying to hand feed a carnivore. Shouldn't really be any difference though. Get enough food in inventory to stand around for 2 hours handing them to the bb 1 by 1 until it is mature enough to hold a stack. Then you're free to resume murdering other dinos.
So instead I hatched a herbivore. Things take long enough to hatch but I was told I only needed an A/C unit.. which was a lie. I was then told 4 A/C units.. I needed 5. Gathering the materials for it has taken a long time.. but with 5 the egg will hatch 100% guaranteed. With 4 it will only incubate during the day.. extremely annoying to have to run back and check on it. I was thinking maybe I could just juggle all 6 eggs I stashed in the ice box but.. not all at the same time.. maybe progressively once this one can hold a stack of food and not die.
We'll see how this goes since the Mammal bb is almost fully mature now.
