Japan might make BitCoin legally a currency
I was thinking it would be a while before a tech savvy nation did this.. But you know that these days 'a while' could literally be measured in days due to a need for both large transactions to be seen as 'legal'.
Again though I'm still confused about the practical differences between paypal, credit and bitcoin if each is just about a medium of fair and widely recognized exchange. Japan wants to back those coins up and owned property though which would introduce a layer of convenience and security BUT I'm assuming that means they'd be access to each wallet it needs to recognize as holding units of digital currency.
Waiting for IMF now I guess. Going to read their virtual currencies and beyond paper... 40 pages.. Ugh.
