So I was just saying how I felt stuck at the beach at Frozen Tooth because I was unable to build out my base, kept losing my defense and wasn't able to tame anything because everything kept getting trampled to death.
Then that level 14 fucker of a Doed managed to get up while right at the end of his taming bar because I spent a few too many minutes trying to hunt down another Rex. So I drop him again.. and realize he's not level 14 like the asshole that was causing me so much trouble. He's a she.. and only level 6. So there's two females getting tamed and that level 14 male somewhere in the base.
I'm like I don't even fucking know how you got up.. then a couple of Raptors tried to run up on me the darkest part of the night as I'm puzzling over killing this troublesome male Doed or dropping him again for taming. Their attempt to murder me of course failed.. because I'm armored and have a sword.. not points for even trying I'll just let their meat rot. Assholes. Didn't even cross my mind to tame them. Raptors are just assholes. They must die.
A new day dawns.. and suddenly I've dropped several new creatures and they are all getting tamed.
The surprise was a pair of mating Pulmonoscorpii.. even on default settings they took no time at all to tame. AND produced an egg so I can get started on kibble for more Rexs! Woo!!!
Then that Rex fucker from the other side of the beach I'd been hunting got stuck on a rock. Like taunting me to drop him.
FINE. Dropped. Asshole. Saldy he's also a she and I already have a female rex. But with an egg to make kibble she will be tamed shortly and with a mating pair of scorpions I should have more eggs to fine a male to mate with both of them. Bwahahaha.. so many 3somes...
Or rather I should just say this is a good day and make the most of it.
So Brontos.. What if a Bronto had gotten constipated and had an infection that caused an extra internal buildup of pressure of carbonaceous gases.. and for whatever reason it was near an ignition source. I'm reminded of Sesharrim and wonder how magnificent the detonation would have been. Farting Brontosaurus in a Forest Fire?
