So I was trying to figure out how's the best way to start over?
I got home from a shit day and discovered that my 5 day old Ark Survivor was robbed. All my stuff and all that I built was wiped for no ready.
I have all my unlocked knowledge and my character level but that was it.
I didn't really think twice about it since it was only 5 days.. but I was only just this morning thinking how this game really shows you how you can level up and look back on where you've been and what you went through to get to where you were.
That's SO clear when you lose everything and have to start over with just your bare ass and fists.
A few hours into it and I'm just about ready to start metal working.. and will only feel right again once I have another bronto and trike guarding my back and a sword and crossbow at my sides.
But I mean that was after the shit day.. losing 5 days in Ark is nothing like losing 4 years of hard work at my job because the managers that had or backs were shown the door.
I've never really needed a CV so when they finally called for people to apply to get a level 2 position I was like maybe this time. I don't have much to put on a CV anyway.
It was basically obscene. I have a technical job but the interviewer straight up said there wouldn't be any technical questions.
Frigging waste. So I'm like I don't need a CV for a job I've been looking for and working towards for 4 years in the company I joined when I had the option of staying with a game testing group at EAM. I mean I'm going to ignore that EAM closed a bit after I left but that's not really important.
AND I mean that's all after BOTH of them told me to fuck off.
The job, the ladies, and the game all telling me to fuck off. Start over.
How do you start over when you've already wasted good years of your life giving it your best effort?
I could ask what I'm doing wrong but I mean.. what for.
I'm going to get me a sword and kill some dinosaurs.
