Though a necessary pain.. not catching her isn't the loss. The loss is that of the fading passion and the dreams that will never be. Not having that person.. or giving up isn't nearly as painful and the decision to stop being so careless and childish that you stop chasing the ones that make your mind race, your heart burn and keep you up at night with the wildest dreams.
I've never been without that pain for as long as I can remember despite some messed up soap opera shit.
