I think I might buy a PS3 if Mass Effect 2 is available for it.

Given: "@EA: "Just announced: @masseffect2 will be released on 1/26 in NA (1/29 in EU)"
And the potential for a Ninja Gaiden Sigma like treated of the game on PS3.. yeah, that would be a great 1st game to break the ice.

Which means it might just ship at the end of january after all.
Somehow I figured they would have overshot the new year by a few months, in the late March, April time frame..
Still giving the extra few weeks it'll let people finish off whatever crap they get for xmas and have time to core out the game prior to the rest of the spring line up hitting the shelves.
I don't figure the game will last too long anyway.. maybe a couple of weeks (to play through 2-3 times), before it gets boring.
OR
Should we just wait for word on DLC before buying the game? I don't see why I should rush to preorder just to get ironman's armour.. when that HUGE lull between launch (if it isn't pirated by then), and some good DLC.
Yes I'm just assuming they've learned from the original and will release more Crackdown like DLC that's worth buying, and PLAYING.
It's that period where I can't pick the game up because it has no content left, and being prompted to pick it up because there is some new DLC available. the preorder incentive isn't worth it.
Unless I do preorder, buy it, and just leave it on the shelf for 6 months.
