Monday blog STRIKES 2
So feeling horribly the moron it occurs to me to ask for the following:
Context:
1, still trying to get around to working on my novel
The second aspect of my novel besides the online game that people watch on TV like it was a major league sport, is the love story.
I'm about as good with that part of writing, well honestly as any other part of it.
Like it's so bad that I wrote, start to almost finish, without having real names for my characters.
After the second or third pass through they've gotten names and backstory, which is great, but they aren't people really.
What I'm looking for is some help with the "Why I Decided to become a Suicide Girl" blog posts.
I'm, thanks to batmite, in the very real position to find that raw material and the authors so I can get a good sense of how acurate my character is.
Having written her before hand with like no reference at all, I wanna know how real she is compared to other people. More importantly because the story involves the internet and social networking.. what kind of stuff would she be up to on her own?
More context:
Shana, the love interest in my story, is a model on an adult site.. oh noes spoilers... everybody panic.
But the site itself isn't hardcore adult.. it's just a community technically even more softcore than SG, which is why originally SG wasn't applicable as a source for material.
But the more I think about it the more it doesn't matter where the source material is from, it can be adapted.
feedback please!
