Sims 3
I've.. raged at length I guess is the best way to put it about Sims 3 and Spore on my gametrailers blog.
What's imporant to know about this game (which I just figured out yesterday), which managed to tweak my ire even more.. is that appearently it's a prequel.
Now this, Sims 3, and Maxis, are stupid.
The game is well made compared to Spore (bugfest) and interesting because of the new features, but it doesn't rival the Sims 2. At all.
Making it a prequel is yet another logic challenge that Maxis presents.
Do they mean to say that the Town was founded prior to Pleasentview.. without meaning you're playing in the past.. or are they just retards?
The answer should be straightforward but I'm not willing to give Maxis the benefit of doubt. They've screwed up too many things for it to matter.
Sims 3 will hopefully become the new crown jewel franchise for Maxis and EA.. it's just got such a long road ahead. Mods, Patches, Expansions.. and hopefully being released on the consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3).
